What customers say?

“ Seating the side of the cemented alley. It is a stall. No Q on a Thursday 6pm. It's hidden behind other street stall. Need to enter via the beginning of the street marked by a mata kucing water vendor. Taste 5/5 but overcooked seafood Freshness of the seafood 4/5 Good to eat with rice. Best taste so far with sufficient sauces made with cili, garlic, onion, dried shrimp and enough saltiness. I will rate 5/5 if seafood is not overcooked and seafood is fresher. But I will return for the taste again.. the lime and sour plum juice by the drinks vendor is so good. Must try.. i ordered it with less sugar.. yummy!! ”

“ grilled food is my weakness! we got the stingray (of course), the mixed seafood and vegetable dish. the sambal was not that spicy but it coated the meats so beautifully, I really wish I was born with more stomach space, it’s a crime to not be able to eat more I swear. fish was amazing - thoroughly cooked, soft and juicy. we only got the small for all but if you’ve got more space just get the large and enjoy la ”

“ The secret is in the chilli sauce and lime — delicious! The stingray and lala cost (medium size) RM27. Coconut RM6 The location is quite hidden, as many stalls along the main street block the view. Look out for Hong Leong Bank; the stall is just at the bank, hidden behind the other stalls, so it’s not easy to spot. ”

“ Been having this grilled fish since young age. How nostalgic this taste can be, remembering that familiar taste since a kid. Worth coming back again to experience back what we have lost in time. A hidden gem in Petaling Street. Ordered grilled stingray w squid mild spicy does the magic. ”

“ We came very last minute, the shop will be closed on 10pm, we came over from pavilion on 9.24pm, decided to call and try our luck, the boss was very friendly to have reserved one white pomfret and giant lala for us. The pomfret was so good that we ordered another one, the lala was so nice and fresh too! Equally good, a pomfret and lala costed Rm 46, which is quite reasonable. Ordered one more pomfret was like Rm 20, rice for Rm 2. All and all, it’s good taste and I shall come again! ”

“ Youth times memories..... although some peoples complaint the taste difference, but for me! It's my youth best food in KL! Choice stingray if you prefer cheaper expenses! Prefer to call booking early 1/2 hour before you arrived' ”

“ I would say that this is quite a savory and spicy food. I ordered the Portugese Grill Fish, which is a stingray and Sotong (squid). It is quite spicy if you are not the person who loves spicy, so it is better to tell before ordering. Price wise is a steal, especially if you eat in a group. Even the small portion can be eaten by 2 people, in my opinion. It is closed every Wednesday and only open at night. The location is quite hidden. You can easily find it if you go to the center of Petaling Street, then just look for the ATM. It is just diagonal across from Kim Soya Bean Make sure you bring cash since they only accept cash payment or maybe QR code for Malaysian. ”

“ We ordered a mixed seafood grill and 2 rice. The food was ok and the price was reasonable. Saw a lot of local eating here and no other tourists beside us. Maybe it is because the stall is very obscure, as it is located behind a row of stalls and is not visible from the main street. We only know about this stall at the recommendation of our Grab driver. ”
